RPF Raising Day concluded

 The weeklong celebration of RPF Raising Day, which commenced from 29.08.2015 to 04.09.2015 concluded at RPF Reserve Line, Maligaon by holding a Suraksha Sammelan, conducted by CSC/RPF/NFR, Shri P.S. Rawal. o­n this occasion the messages received from Hon’ble Railway Minister, Minister of State Railway, Chairman Railway Board, Member Staff and Director General/RPF were read out. After wards the eight force personnel of N.F. Railway, who were awarded DG Insignia and commendation certificate for their meritorious service, their names were read out and were handed over the Insignia and certificate.

About 100 force personnel and officers were present in the Sammelan. Shri Rawal addressed the officers and Jawans and told officers and Jawans to stand upto the expectations of the messages sent by Railway Minister and others. He also expressed his satisfaction o­n the achievements of the force particularly in the sector of passengers’ security. However, he insisted that the force personnel have to work relentlessly with utmost sincerity to make the Railways a crime free zone. In all Divisions of Northeast Frontier Railway, Raising Day of the Railway Protection Force was celebrated in befitting manner with commemoration of various social, cultural and awareness programmes including tree plantation, blood donation, passengers awareness, cleanliness etc.
