In conforming to the continuous endeavor to provide wider options to travelling railway passenger for on-board meals, a pilot project about for board e-catering has been introduced recently.

The aim of the project is to enable the passengers to order food on website as well as through calls & SMS. In the first phase the facility has been made available in 14 pairs of trains in the Delhi-Amritsar & Delhi-Jammu Tawi sectors.
