GM inaugurates Washable Apron at Rangiya station

GENERAL MANAGER INAUGURATES WASHABLE APRON AT RANGIYA STATION

Maligaon, 18th November, 2013 : Shri R.S. Virdi, General Manager, N.F.Railway inaugurated the newly constructed Washable Apron over line No. 3 (Platform No. 2) at Rangiya station today. The 22 coach length (about 500 metres) concrete Washable Apron has been constructed at a cost of about Rs.1 crore.


A Washable Apron is an important passenger amenity at the Railway Stations as it enables easy washing of the platform lines and thereby goes a long way in ensuring maintenance of cleanliness at the stations.
