Shri Yatendra Kumar took charge as Additional General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway on 23rd January, 2023. He is an officer from the 1988 examination batch of Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers and joined railways in the year 1990.
Shri Yatendra Kumar completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Dayalbag Educational Institute, Agra. He has wide experience of works in Construction Organization, Railway Electrification, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and various divisions of Indian Railways.
Shri Kumar has also worked as Divisional Railway Manager, Malda division of Eastern Railway. During his tenure in Malda division, he has ensured 100% electrification and also improved freight loading of the division.
