Daily passenger special train services between Guwahati to Mendipathar and Mairabari to resume

Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to resume the services of two pairs more dailypassenger special trains during the month of September, 2021 for the benefit of short distancetravellers. Among these passenger special trains - o­ne train will run from Guwahati toMendipathar (Meghalaya) and another train will run from Guwahati to Mairabari. With thislocal train services for the people of Meghalaya would be restored.

Resumption of passenger train services: Services of Train No. 05020/05019 Guwahati – Mendipathar - Guwahati dailypassenger special have been resumed leaving Guwahati from 10 th September andleaving Mendipathar from 11 th September, 2021. The train leaving Mendipathar dailyat 07-00 hours will reach Guwahati at 11-45 hours and leaving Guwahati at 16-20hours will reach Mendipathar 20-10 hours.

 Services of Train No. 05503/05504 Guwahati – Mairabari – Guwahati dailypassenger special have been resumed leaving Guwahati from 11 th September andleaving Mairabari from 12 th September, 2021. The train leaving Mairabari daily at 04-00 hours will reach Guwahati at 09-25 hours and leaving Guwahati at 17-40 hourswill reach Mairabari at 23-15 hours.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC websiteand are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N.F.Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.

It may kindly be noted that, during train journey and o­n arrival at their destination, thepassengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state. Allpassengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in thisregards.
