To ease the journey of travellers during puja rush, few more puja special trains to be operated

The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate another four pairs of puja special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the forthcoming Puja season. The puja special trains will run between Kamakhya – Sealdah – Kamakhya and New Jalpaiguri – Howrah – New Jalpaiguri.

Suvidha Puja Special train no. 82313 (Sealdah – Kamakhya) will run for o­ne trip leaving from Sealdah at 23:50 hours o­n 30th September, 2022 (Friday) to reach Kamakhya via Goalpara Town at 17:45 hours o­n the next day. In return direction, Suvidha Puja Special train no. 82314 (Kamakhya - Sealdah) will run for o­ne trip leaving from Kamakhya via Goalpara Town at 23:15 hours o­n 01st October, 2022 (Saturday) to reach Sealdah at 22:40 hours o­n the next day.

Suvidha Puja Special train no. 82301 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) will run for o­ne trip leaving from Howrah at 23:40 hours o­n 05th October, 2022 (Wednesday) to reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:10 hours o­n o­n the next day. In return direction, Suvidha Puja Special train no. 82302 (New Jalpaiguri - Howrah) will run for o­ne trip leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 12:35 hours o­n 06th October, 2022 (Thursday) to reach Howrah at 00:50 hours o­n the next day.

Puja Special train no. 03027 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri) will run for eight trips leaving from Howrah at 23:40 hours o­n all Wednesdays to reach New Jalpaiguri at 10:10 hours o­n the next day from 12th of October till 30th of November, 2022. In return direction, Puja Special train no. 03028 (New Jalpaiguri - Howrah) will run for eight trips leaving from New Jalpaiguri at 12:35 hours o­n all Thursdays to reach Howrah at 00:50 hours o­n the next day from 13th of October till 01st of December, 2022.

AC Puja Special train no. 03173 (Sealdah – Kamakhya) will run for eight trips leaving from Sealdah at 23:50 hours o­n all Fridays to reach Kamakhya via Goalpara Town at 17:45 hours o­n the next day from 07th of October till 25th of November, 2022. In return direction, AC Puja Special train no. 03174 (Kamakhya - Sealdah) will run for eight trips leaving from Kamakhya via Goalpara Town at 23:15 hours o­n all Saturdays to reach Sealdah at 22:40 hours o­n the next day from 08th of October till 26th of November, 2022.

All the puja special trains will run via Bandel, Azimganj, Malda Town and Kishanganj during its both ways journey.

Additionally, it has been decided to extend the service of Train no. 08048/08047 (New Jalpaiguri – Santragachi Jn. – New Jalpaiguri) for another seven trips with its existing composition, timings and stoppages. Train no. 08047 (Santragachi Jn. – New Jalpaiguri) will depart from Santragachi Jn. from 16thof September till 28th of October, 2022. Train no. 08048 (New Jalpaiguri – Santragachi Jn.) will depart from New Jalpaiguri from 17thof September till 29th of October, 2022.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
