Making humanitarian efforts towards health care initiative, Northeast Frontier Railway Women's Welfare Organisation (NFRWWO) organised a health check up camp at Jagriti Shiksha Niketan, Pandu, Guwahati on 24th June, 2022. The camp was organised under the benevolent guidance of Smt. Abha Gupta, President of NFRWWO.
Altogether 115 children were examined by a team of expert doctors of N. F. Railway Central Hospital, Maligaon. Several children were diagnosed afflicted with dental and ENT problems and two with ophthalmological issues. Such children were duly prescribed appropriate treatment.
Reusable face Masks and Sanitary napkins prepared by Dastak, an initiative by RWWCO (Railway Women’s Welfare Central Organisation), were also distributed amongst the ladies of nearby area.
During the health check up, Executive Members of NFRWWO, viz. Smt. Anupama Agarwal, Secretary, Smt. Anandita Vatts, Incharge, Jagriti Shiksha Niketan, Smt. Suchitra Jituri and Smt. Shashi Dudeja were also present.
NFRWWO plays an important role in the field of employee welfare and need-based social service through its multifarious activities. The organization always rises to the call of society and assists the needy people in difficult times.
